CARPATHO-UKRAINE - DR. HELMUT KOBELBAUER

Dr. Helmut Kobelbauer, an international software expert in Air Traffic Control, has collected postal history since the early 1990s. Being an Austrian by birth and always living there, he had to travel to many countries and became a true Internationalist. The world-class collection of Carpatho-Ukraine as built by Dr. Simády Béla eventually ended up with him. He also was the self-elected editor of "The Sub-Carpathian Messenger", a newsletter of Subcarpathian postal history from 2008 till 2018 and still present on the Internet.
