upcoming 2-day long September Public Auction 76 will be held on Saturday and Sunday, SEPTEMBER 14-15, 2024 at 9:00 CEST in our auction house in Prague.
The auction comprises more than 3.500 rare and important lots, mainly stamps and postal history items, including singles, sets, collections and also some large bulk lots and accumulations.
The auction consists of the comprehensive selection of Europe and Overseas, including strong sections of Austria, Great Britain with mint blocks of four Penny Black (ex Bill Gross) and Two Pence Blue and rare Commonwealth and British Empire with wide range of complete sets, high values and specialties.
The sale also includes extensive selection of Czechoslovakia with for example famous rarity of postage-due stamp 50/50 H DOPLATIT. We are also pleased to introduce our special prestigious auction catalogues with the 3rd part of magnificent The Georg Wilhelms Hradčany Issue Exhibit and exhibit "Hradčany entires in the first postal rate period" by Jiří Škaloud.

We are delighted to introduce a wonderful collection of rare Hradčany entires created by Jiří Škaloud, a prominent Czech collector, exhibitor and expert. He achieved remarkable success at the PRAGA 2018 exhibition, where he was awarded gold medals for both of his exhibits in the postal history category. These exhibits included „Hradčany entires in the first postal rate period“ which is featured in this special auction catalogue, and „Hradčany Valuable Letters“ which will be offered in next year‘s auction.
