Exactly 30 years ago, an icon of world pop music, the legendary singer Michael Jackson, arrived in Prague to launch his worldwide HIStory World Tour. On this occasion, a consignor approached the expert team of Burda Auction, inspired by our long-established position as the leading auction house in the field of autographs in the Czech Republic, and entrusted us with an exceptional and rare Michael Jackson autograph, obtained by one of the singer’s Czech fans during this very visit.
Fine selection of Slovakia 1939-1945 will be offered in our upcoming September Public auction 84.
At the 3rd Biennale of the Treasures of World Philately, organized by the Prestige Philately Club Prague from August 29 to September 6 at Prague’s Municipal House, visitors will have the unique opportunity to see what many philatelists consider the most famous stamp in the world—the legendary British Guiana 1c Magenta.
