Both exhibits share a common theme – air mail during the period of the First Czechoslovak Republic. Each, however, approaches the subject from a different perspective and focuses on a distinct area of this fascinating field. Exactly 30 years ago, an icon of world pop music, the legendary singer Michael Jackson, arrived in Prague to launch his worldwide HIStory World Tour. On this occasion, a consignor approached the expert team of Burda Auction, inspired by our long-established position as the leading auction house in the field of autographs in the Czech Republic, and entrusted us with an exceptional and rare Michael Jackson autograph, obtained by one of the singer’s Czech fans during this very visit.
