Public Auction 56

Dear clients,
our upcoming 3-day long Spring Public Auction 56 will be held on Friday and Saturday, March 9-10 in our auction house and on SUNDAY MARCH 11 at Municipal House, Grégr Hall, Prague 1. The auction comprises almost 3.400 very interesting and important lots, mainly stamps and postal history, including singles, sets, collections, also some large lots and accumulations.
The auction consists of the comprehensive selection of Europe, Commonwealth and British Empire, including wide range of complete sets and rare singles, for example an very strong classic Austria with rare exhibit items from Pankrác Zajíček collection, rare classic items of Switzerland, Italy, France, also great USA, Mauritius, Kenya and Uganda with fabulous mint KGV £50 1927 etc.
The sale also includes extensive selection of Czechoslovakia 1918-1939 with magnificent final IV. part of The Large Gold Collection of Czechoslovakia 1918-1939 of Mr. Ludvík Pytlíček with many unique and extremely scarce lots.
The sale will also contain items of Bohemia and Moravia, Czechoslovakia 1945-1992, excellent Slovakia 1939-1945 etc.




The Ludvík Pytlíček Large Gold Collection of Czechoslovakia 1918-1939 was many times awarded with Large Gold medals at the most important international philatelic exhibitions and is worldwide recognized among the collectors.

Now the final 4th part will be offered at special auction in Prague Municipal House (Grégr Hall) on SATURDAY, MARCH 11 at 11:00.

Among many scarce and unique items the most precious and the rarest Czechoslovak stamp ever will be offered for the first time in public auction after long 90 years - the UNIQUE Coat of arms 4K green on GRANITE paper with INVERTED overprint POŠTA ČESKOSLOVENSKÁ 1919.
Estimate: 160.000 - 200.000 Euros.
